The Master CIW Designer certification certifies that a successful Master CIW Designer has learnt the knowledge needed to maintain Web sites using authoring and scripting languages, create content and digital media, and employ standards and technologies for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce Web sites. The successful Master CIW Designer certified student will have knowledge of the human-factor principles in designing, implementing and maintaining hypertext-based Web sites using authoring and scripting languages, content creation and management tools, and digital media tools.

Master CIW Designer Certification Prerequisites:

The Master CIW Designer certification is only available to students who have success fully acquired the CIW certification.

Master CIW Designer Certification Required Exams:

To be awarded the Master CIW Designer certification, the Master CIW Designer student must successfully pass three exams namely; the CIW v5 Foundations , CIW Site Designer or CIW v5 Site Designer and CIW E-Commerce Designer, or CIW v5 E-Commerce Designer exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

Master CIW Designer Certification Recertification:

A successful Master CIW Designer student will hold the Master CIW Designer certification for two years only, after which the Master CIW Designer student must re-validate their Master CIW Designer certification by retaking and passing the CIW v5 Foundations , CIW Site Designer or CIW v5 Site Designer and CIW E-Commerce Designer or CIW v5 E-Commerce Designer.
