3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert

3COM CIPTE Description:

The 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert certification from 3Com Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the maintaining and troubleshooting environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments.

The 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert certification certifies that a successful 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert has learnt the knowledge need to maintaining and troubleshooting, and operating a 3Com IP Telephony. The successful 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert student will have knowledge of optimizing their infrastructure investments and economically extend them with advanced applications. These are all fields in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.

3COM CIPTE Prerequisites:

The 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert certification is available to all students.

3COM CIPTE Required Exams:

To be awarded the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert, the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert student must successfully pass two exams namely; the 3Com NBX R4.4 Technical Update Training and the NBX R5.0 Update Training exam both exams has difficulty ratings of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

3COM CIPTE Recertification:

A successful 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert student will hold the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert certification for two years only, after which any 3Com certification obtained prior to December 1, 2005 is only valid for 1 year. Recertification requires a passing grade on the current 3Com IP Telephony Expert Final Exam.
