BEA 8.1 Certified Developer Description:

The BEA 8.1 Certified Developer (CD) certification from BEA Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer (CD) certification.

The BEA 8.1 Certified Developer certification certifies that a successful BEA 8.1 Certified Developer has learnt the knowledge need to implementing applications deployed on BEA technologies. The successful BEA 8.1 Certified Developer certified student will have knowledge of the custom Web applications, interactive portal solutions, complex integrations and other software used in enterprise applications. These are all fields in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.

BEA 8.1 Certified Developer Prerequisites:

The BEA 8.1 Certified Developer certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months of experience implementing applications deployed on BEA technologies.

To be awarded the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer certification, the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer student must successfully pass one exam namely; the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer (CD) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

A successful BEA 8.1 Certified Developer student will hold the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer certification for indefinitely.
