ACTC Description:

The Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) certification from Apple Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) certification.

The Apple Certified Technical Coordinator certification certifies that a successful Apple Certified Technical Coordinator has learnt the knowledge need to foundation in Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server core functionality and an ability to configure key services and perform basic troubleshooting of the essential Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server capabilities. The successful Apple Certified Technical Coordinator certified student will have knowledge of the foundation in Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server core functionality and an ability to configure key services and perform basic troubleshooting of the essential Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server capabilities. These are all fields in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.

ACTC Prerequisites:

The Apple Content Network Specialist certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience foundation in Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server core functionality and an ability to configure key services and perform basic troubleshooting of the essential Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server capabilities.

ACTC Required Exams:

To be awarded the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator certification, the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator student must successfully pass two exams namely; the Apple 9L0-401 Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.4 (ACHDS) and Apple 9L0-507 Mac OS X Server Essentials v10.4 exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. ACTC Recertification:

A successful Apple Certified Technical Coordinator student will hold the Apple Content Network Specialist certification for indefinitely.
