ACHDS Description:

The Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist (ACHDS) certification from Apple Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the help desk or otherwise assists Mac OS X users with technical issues or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Apple Content Network Specialist (ACHDS) certification.

The Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist certification certifies that a successful Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist has learnt the knowledge need to configure key services, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist end users with essential Mac OS X capabilities. The successful Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist certified student will have knowledge of configure key services, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist end users with essential Mac OS X capabilities. These are all fields in the help desk or otherwise assists Mac OS X users with technical issues environments.

ACHDS Prerequisites:

The Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist certification is only available to students who have success fully acquired and passed the Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.4 Exam (9L0-401) certification exam.

ACHDS Required Exams:

To be awarded the Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist certification, the Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.4 Exam (9L0-401) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.
